Broadcom acquired Siliquent Technologies, Inc. in August 2005

Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq: BRCM), a leading provider of highly integrated semiconductor solutions enabling broadband communications, announced in August 2005 that it has completed the acquisition of Siliquent Technologies Inc., a developer of 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) network interface controllers (NICs) with advanced Ethernet processing technology for server networking, network storage and clustering applications. Broadcom's acquisition of Siliquent technologies will significantly accelerate the delivery of 10GbE C-NICs for server LOM applications.
